Q: What do you think about copyright?

A: Copyright is monopoly. In fact the whole notion of intellectual property rights is quite nonsensical and arrogant. After all just because you claim to have thought of a particular thing first why should you be allowed to monopolise it? And how can you prove the idea or thing came into your head first and was in nobody else's head anywhere in the world? In fact everybody might have secretly thought up the idea already but just hadn't told you. Thinking up an idea, or in my case a cartoon, doesn't even require any effort; it might just happen by accident while in a daydream while I'm worrying about things. Even the meritocratic superstition that effort ought to receive a reward doesn't apply in this circumstance. So yes, I'm in favour of anti copyright and in favour of creating common wealth.
